Check if your roof needs to be replaced. Old roofs are not suitable for solar panels, and replacing your roof will be much more expensive if you do so after installing panels.

Find Your company:

• Verify a company’s credentials
• The North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) is the best certification for solar companies
• Check with other consumers’ experiences by reading reviews online
• Research and get quotes from multiple different companies to find the best option for you
• Carefully read any contracts and documents before signing
